Course description DAS Theatre offers a training laboratory for emerging artists in the field of theatre/ performance arts. The question-based course focuses on the individual development of the student and the professional and academic competences needed in performing arts. DasArts aims to equip graduates with empowering tools in shaping their artistic signature, to become important creative voices in the world of art.

Information about the institution The Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) is constantly innovating and developing. It occupies a prominent place, both nationally and internationally, in education, the arts and cultural life. The courses are given in alluring locations in Amsterdam, the cultural centre of the Netherlands. The AHK offers courses at bachelor and advanced or master level in the following subjects: fine art and design, music, film and television, theatre, dance, cultural heritage and museum studies, and architecture.

Admission

Admission requirements
  1. Minimum requirement: a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the arts.
  2. Emerging artists with proven experiences in performance arts. Portfolio should include at least 3 performance/time-based arts projects/ exhibitions.
  3. Pratical assignments and the abilities to formulate one's goal/view/artistic statement during interview with the admission jury.
