Course description Als werktuigbouwkundig ingenieur richt je je op het ontwerpen en produceren van apparaten, installaties en machines. Denk maar eens aan de motor van een auto, een hart-long machine die nodig is tijdens een operatie of een verwarmingsinstallatie die functioneert op zonnecollectoren. Allemaal technische toepassingen waardoor ons dagelijks leven aangenamer wordt, ons werk makkelijker of waarmee we zelfs levens kunnen redden. Wie werktuigbouwkunde studeert, leert om technische oplossingen te ontwerpen voor allerlei producten. Producten worden continu verbeterd en dit vraagt om mensen met een praktische instelling. Samen met je collega's kun je werken aan zeer uiteenlopende technische of organisatorische vragen. Met een studie Werktuigbouwkunde kun je dus veel kanten op! Na het voltooien van de opleiding Werktuigbouwkunde ontvang je het getuigschrift Bachelor of Engineering.
