Course summary In this two week program, the first week of the program deals with strategic leadership and planning. The second week is about how to manage change to realize the strategic objectives.
Course description Strategic leadership is about setting the direction of organizations, both public and private. It is about analyzing external development and internal strengths and weaknesses and define a vision for the future of the organization. It is about translating the mission and the vision into an actionable plan to realize objectives and about preparing and changing the organization to realize the vision of the future e.g. by making use of strategic performance management. This program will equip you with tools and instruments to develop a strategic leadership plan for your organization. It also will help you in developing managerial skills and capabilities required to lead organizational change processes e.g. in diagnosing your organization, developing change strategy and using tools for organizational change. Also, the training will equip you with a solid understanding of the resistance to and dynamics of change and help you to develop your personal management skills. The program has a practice oriented focus and makes use of guest speakers and exposure visit(s).
