Study subjects Human Rights and Migration provides a basis regarding core issues of EU Law such as Competition Law, EU External Relations Law and Advanced Notions of EU Law. At the same time it also provides you with the freedom to develop your own curriculum by choosing between (semi-)optional courses such as European Immigration Law, European and Comparative Refugee Law, European Legal History, Judicial Protection, International Individual Criminal Responsibility and Comparative Constitutional Law.
Course objectives The objective of the programme is for students to acquire an advanced understanding of human rights and immigration law in the context of the EU. The degree in Human Rights and Migration Law is a highly regarded qualification throughout the world which you can use as evidence to support applications for legal jobs and for work with charities, government agencies and NGOs. The potential for varied and interesting work is huge since human rights law has numerous social and legal implications.
