Course summary The Short Degree Programme Marketing lasts one year: one semester of theory and a practical semester in which you will do a final assignment.
Course description Students enroll for two, three or four semesters depending on their educational background and level of studies: university or diploma like H.N.D. or Dazhuan. The course builds on the three-year university education of the student. It offers the latest insights and knowledge in business strategies, international strategies, advanced marketing communication skills.
Study subjects Final Thesis Graduation: Research project for a company, in the company. Students gain experience and develop professional skills. Business Plan: Business Plan, management subjects. Marketing Communication: Marketing Communication plan, communication subjects. International Sales & Account Plan: B2B Exhibition, business subjects. Other: getting acquainted camp, external session and excursions.
Course objectives The programme has been developed for international students in their final undergraduate phase. The contents and didactics ensure that students get acquainted with their future work field in Marketing. A Marketing Manager should the know the market, identify market movements, undertake market analyses and use his/her knowledge, intuition and skills at middle or higher management levels.

Information about the institution Saxion University of Applied Sciences is one of the larger institutions of higher education in the Netherlands, with over 23,000 students (and still growing!). Saxion University has a rich history – its roots can be traced back to the 1875. A merger of two educational institutions, the Hogeschool Enschede and Hogeschool Ijselland, in 1998 paved the way for Saxion University in its present form.   1. Diploma-students (e.g. HND or Dazhuan) enroll in 3 or 4 semesters (year 3 of the 4-year Bachelor programme). University students enroll (depending on their previous education) in the last 2 semesters of the 4-year Bachelor programme.
