Course description All over the world, the key to successful business is based on the performance of your Human Resource or Human Capital. International organisations and their staff continually need to adapt to shifts in the external environment and have to feel ‘at home’ anywhere in the world. This programme is aimed at advancing the understanding of human behaviour in the workplace and the contribution of Human Resource (HR) policies and practices to the effectiveness of organizations. You will certainly have to understand your company’s strategy to cope with the fast changing environments. And within this dynamic and rapidly changing environment, your personal knowledge, skills, competences and understanding how to co-operate with business managers are extremely important to ensure the organizations, and human resource “ fit” to all internal and external changes.

Information about the institution Saxion University of Applied Sciences is one of the larger institutions of higher education in the Netherlands, with over 23,000 students (and still growing!). Saxion University has a rich history – its roots can be traced back to the 1875. A merger of two educational institutions, the Hogeschool Enschede and Hogeschool Ijselland, in 1998 paved the way for Saxion University in its present form.
