Course description The three-year English-taught Bachelor’s programme Advanced Technology (AT) is the most varied technology programme in the Netherlands. Familiarizing you with a broad range of science and tech disciplines, the programme’s slogan is: ‘Explore and develop your science and engineering talents’. It equips ambitious students with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle complex challenges from a broad variety of perspectives, and to engage in the process of creating tech solutions from start to finish. Graduates can access many science and engineering Master’s, from Materials (think Nanotechnology, Applied Physics, or Biomedical Engineering) and Process Engineering (Sustainable Energy Technology or Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering) to Mechatronics (Systems & Control, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems) and others, including Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Business Administration. With its strong focus on application and societal impact, this Bachelor’s is the ideal preparation for a research, consultancy, engineering or entrepreneurial career in almost any area of science and tech.

Admission requirements
  1. Diploma equivalent to the Dutch VWO (pre-university) diploma, with mathematics, chemistry and physics.
  2. AT-student who has a solid grounding in exact subjects, such as mathematics, physics and chemistry is more likely to be successful than others.
