Course description The three-year English-taught Bachelor’s programme Chemical Science & Engineering (CSE) will make you an expert in understanding, designing and developing new, sustainable processes, materials and solutions, using chemistry as your starting point. Chemical engineers engage in many different challenges, from developing tiny chemical structures – small enough to fit on a chip – to maintaining, improving or designing giant reactors and installations. This programme will prepare you for this broad, fascinating field, introducing you to many subjects, from nano chemistry to the science of polymers and large scale chemical processes. Throughout the programme, chemistry is not your end goal, but the starting point for deepening, broadening and sustainably applying chemical technology. Your expertise in chemistry, process technology and materials science – as well as mathematics – will enable you to solve technological problems in fields ranging from energy or industrial processes to the design of devices, installations or plants.
