Course summary The 2-year Post-Master PDEng programme in Energy and Process Technology focuses on creating technological solutions for products and processes in the field of energy-, process and materialtechnology.
Course description The market in Energy & Process Technology (EPT) asks for high qualified designers who have knowledge about different kind of technical and non-technical aspects of contemporary issues. But above all the market asks for employees who know how to work properly in a multidisciplinary design team and dealing with solving complex issues are really needed. The PDEng trainee programme is based on functional and market based requirements and focuses on quality, environment en sustainability. A methodological approach, which tackles the always present uncertainties, always comes first. Employers are often the organizations were the trainees do their design project. The branches of these organizations vary from multinationals to smaller companies in the field of energy-, process and materialtechnology. The customized curriculum consists of courses, self-study, doing some small projects and one major design project (60ECTS) at a company. The main focus is on designing, but there are plenty of choices for a specialization in the field of energy and process technology. During the two-year programme, the trainee is a salaried employee of the University of Twente. There is no university fee.
Study subjects In this Post-Master programme you will spend 50% of your time on a technological design within a company, and 50% of your time on a course programme to earn knowledge and skills in favor of creating the technological design.
