Course description | The three-year English-taught Bachelor’s programme Psychology (PSY) will equip you to combine in-depth psychological expertise with hands-on 21st-century problem-solving. You will learn to research and analyse problems and to come up with effective interventions for current challenges in healthcare – for example, in clinical practice – business, education, or the fight against terrorism. You will learn how to deal with the possibilities and risks of new technologies – for example, using human-friendly robots, creating smart remedies for gaming addictions, or reducing traffic risks resulting from mobile phone use. The programme is set in a rich international environment with students and staff members from different backgrounds tackling topics and cases from many countries. Our small scale and informal, personal approach are highly appreciated. As a forward-looking ‘intervention engineer’, you will be ready to make a difference in a broad variety of societal domains. Your proficiency in working across cultural and disciplinary boundaries and in applying psychology to practical issues will give you above-average career prospects as a researcher, designer or organizer. |
