Course description | Students become equipped to analyze and advise on HR, work, and organizational issues, such as understanding the underpinnings of HR decisions and their consequences for work, well-being, and performance, or to implement new HR policies in the context of a changing environment. The international orientation and practice-oriented approach give you a head start in the labor market. Human Resource Studies in Tilburg is the first scientific education program in the field of human resources in the Netherlands (since 1986), with a a unique multidisciplinary approach. Specific attention is paid to: * the recognition and identification of issues in the field of HR * strategic Human Resource Management (HRM) and HR development * the relationship between HRM and the achievements of individuals and organizations * the implementation of new HR policy in relation to the question of organizational change * the management of diversity * the foundation of HR decisions * consultancy on HR decisions Through specific training you will also work on the development of personal skills relevant to an HR professional. |
Study subjects | The Master's program in Human Resource Studies is an intensive one-year program of 60 ECTS. In this year, students will discuss the latest research and its theoretical foundations, and learn how to apply this knowledge in actual organizational settings. |
