Study subjects As a HMSM graduate, or so called ‘hotello’, you will have a fundamental theoretical & practical knowledge of the core areas important to (international) business. You will be able to create and innovate processes and practices in the hospitality industry. Core subjects are: financial management, accounting, law & ethics, economics, marketing, organizational behavior, strategy and management.
Course objectives After 4 years you will become a creative, innovative, all-round hotel and hospitality manager and/or entrepreneur with a hands-on mentality and a global mindset. You will enjoy an excellent reputation in the Netherlands as well as abroad.

Information about the institution Zuyd University of Applied Sciences offers you the best of both worlds: a small-scale, intimate learning environment with all the benefits of a larger institution. You can choose from a wide range of courses and enjoy excellent facilities in modern buildings. Despite being one of the largest UAS’s in the country, all of Zuyd’s faculties are relatively small, tight-knit communities, where you find a personal and welcoming atmosphere. Lectures are interactive, with room for personal guidance as well as the freedom to develop into a skilled and creative professional. Zuyd’s project-based learning method allows you to work in small groups of no more than 15 students, supported by a tutor.
