The bachelor's programme European Studies is taught in English. An active and passive command of English is therefore necessary. If you finished your secondary education in a non–EU/EEA country and are not a native English speaker, you must submit the official results of either an IELTS test (minimum score 6.0) or TOEFL (computer-based minimum score 213; internet-based minimum score 80; paper-based minimum score 550). If you finished your secondary education in an EU/EEA country you will not have to do an English language test.
If you have a non-Dutch diploma that is equivalent to the Dutch VWO diploma you are in principle admissible to this programme. If your diploma is not included in the overview of equivalent diplomas, it must first be evaluated by the Admissions Office.
